Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily financial operations of Harmony Hill Baptist Church, ensuring accuracy, accountability, compliance, and stewardship of all church financial resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process contributions and banking activities
• Prepare and present financial reports
• Administer vendor management and internal controls
• Handle applicable tax documentation
• Supervise finance-related administrative processes and personnel
• Provide oversight of the Church Event Coordinator and any finance support staff or volunteers involved in counting, making deposits, or processing contributions
• Serve as a liaison between ministry leaders and executive leadership regarding budgets, expenditures, financial procedures, and reporting
• Oversee the front-desk administrative assistant
