Finance Manager
About the role
The Finance Manager is a key member of the site finance team, providing financial, analytical, and technical expertise to support the Site Manufacturing Organization (SMO) organization. The role enables and monitors the execution of the Long Term Production Optimization (LPO) SMO strategy while contributing to the development and improvement of local financial processes, procedures, and systems as the site continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Support site financial planning processes, including multi-year strategic planning (BSR), annual Target planning, and monthly reforecasting, ensuring alignment with operational and financial objectives.
- Partner with Asset Leadership Teams (ALT) and senior stakeholders to support cost management, FTE planning, and spend governance while ensuring alignment with site financial targets and strategic priorities.
- Own the preparation and delivery of the site monthly P&L reporting package, providing clear analysis of financial performance, key drivers, and risks for leadership review.
- Manage the site month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and corporate policies.
- Ensure strong financial governance and internal control compliance, including execution and monitoring of key controls and remediation of identified gaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- At least 5-7 years related experience in a multi-national environment: Life Science or manufacturing experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Demonstrated success leading complex analyses, projects and cross-functional initiatives that drive business impact.
- Experience developing financial models, forecasts, budgets, and executive-level reporting to support decision making.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to effectively multi-task, take initiative and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to build credibility and partner effectively across teams through strong communication, influence, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with experience using SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or similar ERP systems.
