Job Responsibilities
- Gathers and analyzes data to monitor and improve the financial status of a specific sales channel.
- Reviews financial reporting structures, accounting procedures, and investment activities; recommends improvements to procedural, operational, and financial controls.
- Drafts operational and risk reports for management analysis.
- Develops and oversees procedures to safeguard assets, records, and loan collateral and securities.
- Reviews collection reports to determine the status and outstanding amounts of collections; refers delinquent accounts to appropriate agencies or attorneys.
- Prepares and presents financial and other related reports as required by company policy, local, state, and/or federal laws and regulations.
- Plans and prepares sales channel budgets.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and clients, assisting them when needed.
- Gathers, prepares, and provides financial information to stockholders and other investors; assists with efforts to raise additional capital.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration required.
- Masters degree in a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of related work experience required.
- Ability to review and analyze financial documents and reports and to identify trends, risks, weaknesses, and other pertinent information.
- Excellent management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use sound judgment to make decisions in line with company goals.
- Ability to work independently.
