Key Responsibilities
- Manage the allocation and tracking of Supply Chain expenses between the remaining organization and the to-be-separated Supply Chain business.
- Analyze headcount, operating expenses, and financial data to support the separation of orthopedic-related costs and systems.
- Ensure expenses are accurately mapped within the chart of accounts and aligned with financial reporting requirements.
- Partner with regional Supply Chain Finance and Accounting teams to provide financial reporting guidance and ensure consistent reporting practices.
- Support month-end and financial reporting activities related to the business separation.
- Analyze costing, financial statements, and expense trends to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data and successful project execution.
- Prepare financial analyses, presentations, and reporting materials for leadership using Excel and PowerPoint.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Finance, Accounting, or Auditing experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial statements.
- Experience supporting Supply Chain Finance or manufacturing operations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficient in PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a complex, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with financial planning tools such as Anaplan.
- Experience using Alteryx.
- Background in auditing or public accounting.
- Experience supporting large-scale business transformation or organizational separation initiatives.
