This role leads US accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely month-, quarter-, and year-end close in compliance with IFRS, GAM, and corporate policies. It serves as the technical accounting and revenue recognition lead, while driving process improvements, automation, financial analysis, ERP enhancements, and other strategic finance initiatives. The position also manages a team of 2–4 accountants.
Responsibilities
- Lead US accounting and financial reporting activities, including month-, quarter-, and year-end close
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAM, and corporate policies
- Serve as technical accounting and revenue recognition lead
- Drive process improvements, automation, financial analysis, and ERP enhancements
- Manage a team of 2–4 accountants
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 5+ years of Gross to Net (G2N) revenue accounting experience, preferably in the pharma industry
- 3+ years of ERP system knowledge (Oracle)
- Experience with Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services operating model
- Advanced Excel skills
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)
