About the role
The Honda Finance Manager will oversee the finance and insurance processes for customers, ensuring accurate deal processing and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle financing and leasing deals accurately and secure approvals through various financial sources.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting the automotive finance department.
- Create and maintain a referral program between the sales and finance departments to ensure all new sales are properly referred.
- Train and provide information to the sales team on finance and lease programs, as well as the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs.
- Provide a positive client experience by offering aftermarket products and extended warranties, and explaining manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive finance with a minimum of 5 years.
- Exceptional communication skills, both with peers and customers.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations affecting the automotive industry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with financial software and systems.
