Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee agency-wide and program-specific budgets.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, analyses, and forecasts.
- Supervise and support Finance Team staff.
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, billing, receivables, and cash management processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and organizational policies.
- Capture annual audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Present financial information and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Aid managers with budget development, monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Support strategic planning and long-term financial goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
- MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
- Minimum three years of accounting and financial management experience.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with HRIS and accounting systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience in nonprofit human services, Medicaid-funded programs, CMH, MSHDA, MDHHS, or similar environments preferred.
