Finance Manager

As Finance Manager, you will work directly with the General Manager/COO, leadership team, and Board of Directors, providing insights that help guide key business decisions and long-term planning. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and member billing.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, KPI reports, and variance analyses.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and support department leaders with financial planning and decision-making.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, and internal control standards.
- Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and relationships with external auditors and advisors.
- Monitor expenditures, collections, inventory, fixed assets, and capital projects.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, and financial performance.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial, employee, member, and Club information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in hospitality, private clubs, or service-based industries is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer, with occasional standing and walking throughout Club facilities.
- Requires clear vision for reviewing financial documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Frequent communication with staff, leadership, and members in person, by phone, and via email.
- On site work is required to support Club operations and leadership needs, with flexibility available based on workload and activities.
