Solutions Finance Manager
This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Operations, and Business Development and is responsible for developing financially sound, operationally executable solutions for new and existing clients.
The Solutions Finance Manager acts as a strategic partner to the Solutions, Business Development, and Operations teams, translating scope, asset data, and service requirements into pricing strategies, cost models, and deal structures that drive profitable growth. This role requires a strong FP&A mindset; understanding not just cost inputs, but the underlying operational drivers, financial risks, and long-term profitability of each solution. The position interacts directly with internal stakeholders and external clients in support of new business pursuits, client retention, and expansion opportunities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop bottom-up cost models across labor, materials, subcontracting, and asset-based services to support new business and renewals
Lead pricing strategy development for RFPs, negotiated deals, and client expansions, ensuring alignment with competitive positioning and profitability targets
Analyze historical financials, operational data, and benchmarks to validate assumptions and improve estimate accuracy
Support financial planning activities, including forecasting assumptions, pro forma modeling, and deal-level profitability analysis
Prepare financial summaries, deal reviews, and executive-level presentations for internal and client stakeholders
Partner cross-functionally with Solutions, Operations, Finance, and BD teams to align on solution design, pricing approach, and execution strategy
Develop and maintain cost estimating tools, databases, and benchmarking models to support continuous improvement in pricing accuracy
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Minimum of five+ years of related finance work – Operational & Financial Analytics, Customer presentation / management and core FP&A
Expert Level Excel and Power Point Skills. Tableau, Power BI, Power Query Experience
Preferred:
Strong financial acumen with the ability to connect operational drivers to financial outcomes
Ability to develop and present clear, concise financial narratives to senior leadership and clients
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to process large volumes of data and deliver insights under tight timelines
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in a matrixed environment
High level of attention to detail
Physical Demands
Ability to work in an office environment using laptop, cell phone and office phones
Periodic travel to customer locations, which may include office or work site
