Finance Manager

About the role

Databricks is seeking a Finance Manager for its FP&A team. This role is open to candidates in listed locations or remote candidates in other locations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related quantitative field, with 6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Analytically solve problems with large data sets to support executive decision-making
• Lead the end-to-end recommendation process
• Nurture deep, trusted partnerships with Sales, Finance, Commercialization, Data Science, Accounting, IT, Business Operations, and their respective technical teams
• Find creative solutions for data challenges and communicate insights through detailed reports, charts, and presentations
• Build and maintain financial and operational models to understand real-time forecasts for key financial metrics
• Propose and implement solutions to drive key financial metrics in partnership with the GTM team
• Guide process improvement, standardization, simplification, and installation of proper controls and reporting enhancements

Requirements

• Proven ability to drive strong cross-functional relationships, especially with GTM organizations, to achieve business outcomes
• Expertise in understanding and updating financial models that follow industry best practices, maintaining complex spreadsheets, and using Google Sheets
• Experience in understanding business questions and making data-driven insights with excellent analytical skills

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to present financial data using detailed reports, charts, and narratives
• Experience with GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics

• Strategic assessment of consumption growth drivers
• Partnership with GTM team to drive impact

Benefits
