About the Role

Chenega Advanced Solutions and Intelligence Services, LLC (CASIS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chenega Corporation, is seeking a Finance Manager to support Customs and Border Protection Inspection Technology programs at the ILD facility in Lorton, VA. CASIS specializes in Intelligence Operations and Cyber Support Services for the Department of Defense and other U.S. Government agencies. This role involves financial program execution, vendor management, and ensuring the effective use of resources in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day financial guidance and leadership.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial execution and reporting, including purchase orders, purchase requisitions, and vendor payments in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Handle timekeeping, required training, and onboarding.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent cadence of vendor meetings; perform quarterly vendor reviews, including performance measurements and feedback.
  • Provide weekly input to the Weekly Activity Report (WAR).
  • Generate and coordinate the Monthly Status Report, including peer review by program leadership prior to submission.
  • Resolve financial problems, complete audits, and identify trends.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate financial activities across the program, including cost, operational budgets, staffing requirements, subcontracts, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure direction and compliance of maintenance and logistics elements for both prime contracts and subcontracts.
  • Direct activities of assigned personnel through coordination with other management team members.
  • Assist in resolving contractual issues through coordination with the Program Manager and procurement personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and security requirements.
  • Review technical documentation and provide reports to customers and corporate elements.
  • Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc financial reports, including deliverables as directed.
  • Maintain detailed financial records of Lorton and Albuquerque activities.
  • Review and approve or disapprove vendor invoices.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement projects.
  • Plan, direct, and manage special engineering projects if required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in government contracting.
  • 3+ years of financial management experience.
  • 3+ years of personnel management experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation (BI).
  • Must successfully pass background and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Costpoint and MAXIMO.
  • PMP certification.
  • Knowledge of the federal government contracting environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of government procurement regulations, DHS policies and procedures, and Federal Travel Regulations.

Pay

Estimated annual salary range: USD $70,000.00 to $74,286.46.

Schedule

100% remote (teleworking permitted).
