Job Summary

The Finance Intern is responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance team. This is a remote, unpaid internship.

Essential Functions

• Analyze data to determine outstanding balances for external clients.
• Work on collections for outstanding accounts receivables for external clients.
• Monitor and respond to inquiries coming into the accounts receivables inbox.
• Provide timely response to inquiries from external and internal customers.
• Navigate third-party invoicing systems.
• Provide updates and communications to the laboratories on client accounts.
• Aid the Finance team with projects and administrative support tasks.

Minimum Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• General knowledge of basic accounting practices.
• Expert level skills utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• General knowledge of accounting software.
• Precise data entry skills and PC proficiency.
• Excellent customer services and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information.
• Works well on a team.
• Physical Requirements: Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools; talk or hear; stand, walk, and sit; color vision and depth perception.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in a general office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This job may require travel less than 20%.
