Finance Intern
The internship opportunity is classified as a temporary position within the Corporate Finance department at NorthBay Health for 8-12 weeks.
About the role
This internship provides a learning and exposure opportunity in a real-life working environment. The intern will observe and contribute to various departments, participating in projects and presentations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Be open to observation, learning, and following operations workers and management.
- Willing to share knowledge and experiences with colleagues.
- Absorb and assist with projects as directed.
- Attend meetings as requested.
- Participate in work groups and present learnings and key takeaways at the end of the internship.
Qualifications
- Education: Enrolled and completed at least one year of a Baccalaureate Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: None required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong communication skills, ability to organize tasks, prioritize work, and manage time effectively. Critical thinking, collaboration, and adaptability are essential.
- Personal Attributes: Professional appearance, confidence, integrity, effective communication, and a sense of humor are required.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
