Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Finance Analyst Intern to work on a contract basis. The role involves supporting financial operations and analysis within a structured on-site environment. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Assist in monthly and quarterly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support budget development and variance analysis to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct financial modeling and forecasting to evaluate business performance and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain and update financial databases and systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems for data management and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation and calculations.
• Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
