Finance Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Support preparation of budget, forecast, and long-range planning materials.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare financial dashboards and reporting packages for business reviews.
• Support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects.
• Auxiliary with customer, product, and portfolio profitability analysis.
• Support pricing, trade investment, and promotional effectiveness evaluations.
• Participate in financial modeling and scenario analysis projects.
• Help translate commercial performance data into actionable insights.
• Support the development of dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
• Help validate and organize financial and operational data.
• Perform data cleansing and reconciliation activities to improve reporting quality.
• Assist with automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in strategic finance initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Research industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
• Prepare presentations and analyses for leadership meetings.
• Support process improvement efforts across FP&A and Commercial Finance functions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Preferred: experience with financial modeling or data analysis projects, familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools, knowledge of accounting and financial statements, experience working with large datasets, interest in consumer packaged goods (CPG), manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
