About the role
The Finance Coordinator supports the management team with forecasting and reporting activities, assists with invoice processing, provides customer follow-up, manages purchase orders, resolves accounts receivables and payables issues, and performs various general office duties.
Responsibilities
- Support management team with forecasting and reporting activities.
- Aid in invoice processing.
- Provide assistance for following up with customers who are late in payment for services provided.
- Offer support for purchase order creation.
- Be the primary point of contact for the Shared Services Center to resolve Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables issues.
- Assist with the analysis of data as required.
- May assist with developing, updating, and/or reviewing local operating procedures and/or work instructions.
- Perform various general office duties, including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, and maintaining an adequate stock of general office supplies.
- Perform other work as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Microsoft Office software proficiency, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written format.
- Strong prioritization, organization, and time management skills.
- Experience in business activities, like accounting, customer follow up, month close, etc.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and systematically compile technical, statistical, and/or financial information into comprehensive reports or other formats.
- Ability to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives, and time frames.
- Comprehend, read, and comprehend a variety of written materials, including those that are electronic.
- Dexterity to perform the clerical functions inherent to the position, such as: data entry/typing, writing, operating a telephone, filing, etc.
- Dexterity to operate equipment, bend, turn, reach, balance, stoop, and mobility to travel to other work areas.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time while performing duties at workstation.
