Finance & Business Management - Vice President
About the role
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity on the Finance and Business Management team supporting the Product and Transformation teams. The role ensures senior management has visibility into major initiatives, business metrics, financials, and data insights to achieve strategic objectives. You will partner closely with senior business leaders and key partners across CIB Finance, Business Management, Banking, and Data & Analytics teams to enable effective end-to-end execution.
Responsibilities
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate business risks that could impair our ability to do business (e.g., legal, tax, regulatory, capacity issues, extraordinary transaction costs).
- Analyze financial performance, including expenses; identify productivity initiatives and drive implementation.
- Partner with the business, Operations, and Technology in defining future workflows and implementing related technology and infrastructure projects to meet evolving market requirements.
Requirements
- Superior strategic and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on managing business risks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas simply in PowerPoint slides.
- Strong project management abilities, including juggling multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Ability to define, influence, and deliver strategic agendas across multiple groups with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Experience with product and transformation initiatives.
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience in Business Management, Operations, or Consulting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous product knowledge and/or prior Business Management experience.
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to present well to senior and global business heads.
- Strong internal relationship-building across a broad range of functions.
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with a high degree of independence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and present conclusions concisely.
- Practical fluency with AI-enabled productivity tools to accelerate research, writing, analysis, and stakeholder communications.
- Strong judgment in applying AI—knowing when to use AI vs. manual analysis and validating outputs for accuracy, completeness, tone, and audience fit.
