Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate – Financial Services – North Carolina

About the role

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a highly motivated associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group on the Financial Services Team. The position is available in North Carolina, with a strong preference in Charlotte or Raleigh.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience in documenting, negotiating, closing, and conducting due diligence for all types of secured and unsecured credit facilities and loan transactions, with experience in syndicated credit facilities and tax credit finance (including Low Income Housing Tax Credits) preferred.
• Proven experience in managing large commercial and corporate lending transactions from inception through closing and post-closing stages.

Essential Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sophisticated finance experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Committed to providing exceptional client service.
• Licensed or eligible to be immediately licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
