About the role
Imagine360 is a third-party payer for self-funded health and welfare plans, committed to driving change in the healthcare industry with solutions that deliver results. This position is responsible for compiling, calculating, reconciling, and posting financial data to maintain client records and produce financial reports. The role also supports the Finance team in daily activities to achieve quality and production metrics.
Position Location: 100% remote
Responsibilities
- Check/ACH Processing
- Prepare checks for deposit based on provided task instructions and close tasks upon completion.
- Issue checks or prepare ACH transactions for claims reimbursement payments.
- Post check deposits and payments.
- Verify, monitor, and resolve funding and banking items, such as refunds, voided checks, and reissued checks.
- Monitor accounts receivable and over/short payments.
- Adhere to department policies and procedures.
- Perform back-up and other duties, as assigned.
- Record Keeping
- Complete premium and claims reconciliations accurately and timely, producing related reports for clients.
- Collect banking transaction information, verify for accuracy, and coordinate posting record-keeping entries.
- Compile information and verify accuracy for client ledgers and other financial reporting.
- Maintain internal control systems, such as check logs and banking account ledgers.
- Adhere to department policies and procedures.
- Perform back-up and other duties, as assigned.
- Customer Service
- Act as a role model in demonstrating core values in customer service delivery.
- Provide timely and thorough follow-up with internal and external customers.
- Appropriately escalate difficult issues up the chain of command.
- Quality Assurance
- Perform reviews and/or audits of other employees' work to ensure quality and procedural measures are met.
- Actively participate in staff meetings and cross-departmental meetings to ensure financial standards are upheld.
- Serve on committees, work groups, and/or process improvement teams to assist in improving quality and customer satisfaction.
- Recognize and alert supervisors of trends outside quality parameters.
- Perform self-quality monitoring to develop and execute plans for meeting established goals.
- Provide ongoing feedback to optimize quality performance.
- Develop new or improve current internal processes to enhance quality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- 2+ years of related work experience.
- Prior bank reconciliation experience strongly preferred (e.g., Business Banking, Treasury Management, Funds movement process).
Skills
- Ability to reconcile funding accounts and transactions.
- Working knowledge of Excel.
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
- Proficient in 10-key and typing skills.
- Ability to follow up on assigned work and obtain proper review and approval.
- Ability to gather and analyze information for problem resolution.
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and above-average customer service skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle stress, and interact professionally with others.
