Key Responsibilities
- Aid in client payment processing, including recording checks, bank deposits, and entering data into the artist database.
- Maintain payment records and verify transactions to ensure clients are paid accurately.
- Review and reconcile daily cash receipts and update the cash book.
- Support month-end procedures, including bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, journal uploads, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Generate and monitor outstanding accounts receivable ledger, reporting on aged debts.
- Monitor and review company credit card activity in Ramp software.
- Process and post all A/P invoices and staff reimbursements using the company’s finance software, ensuring the process is completed before the weekly payment run.
- Maintain and reconcile the client recharge list for company expenses.
- Collaborate with finance staff in both the US and UK to support accounting operations.
- Work closely with stakeholders outside of the finance team, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects as needed.
About You
- Experience in a similar role, such as Client Payment Processing, Accounts Payable Clerk, or general finance.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
- Self-starter who thrives in an environment requiring initiative and the ability to drive improvements or changes.
- Hightly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Easy-going with a can-do attitude, capable of collaborating confidently with various personality types internally and externally.
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills, with the willingness and ability to further develop proficiency.
- Experience with NetSuite, In-Entertainment, Ramp, or other finance database systems is desirable.
- Interest in the media or entertainment industry.
