About the role

Lincoln Electric’s Finance & Accounting Summer 2027 Internship in Cleveland, OH offers hands-on experience in global finance at a $4.2B manufacturing powerhouse. Interns work alongside industry leaders on real accounting tasks, competitor analysis, financial reporting, and strategic initiatives that impact operations in over 160 countries.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial reports highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and variances.
  • Conduct research on industry competitors to gather financial performance insights.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual filings (10-Q, 10-K).
  • Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations for accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in building and updating financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Support audits of key financial and operational controls across business units.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Internal Audit, FP&A, Financial Reporting, and Cost Accounting teams.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or already achieved a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • Eligible to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.

Skills

  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and support data-driven decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Interest in working for a manufacturing company.

Schedule

Target program dates: May 25th – August 6th, 2027.
