About the role
Lincoln Electric is looking for bright, driven individuals to join our Finance & Accounting Development Program—designed to connect your academic foundation with real-world, hands-on experience. As a participant, you’ll gain exposure to various processes within the Corporate Accounting & Finance function through rotations over a 9-month period in areas including:
- Financial Reporting and Accounting
- Cost Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis
- Internal Audit
You will also assist in Corporate Accounting / Finance projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support audits of newly acquired businesses, including inventory validation and integration of financial controls.
- Prepare financial reports that highlight key performance metrics, trends, and variances to support decision-making.
- Assist in building and updating financial forecasts and annual budgets.
- Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual filings (10-Q, 10-K).
- Assist with audits of key financial and operational controls across various business units.
- Assist with physical inventories for divisions and subsidiaries.
- Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance by June 2027.
- Eligible to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.
Skills
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Previous Accounting or Financial experience.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience utilizing AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Highly motivated with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or achieved a master's degree or CPA designation.
