Finance Accountant

Almac is seeking a Financial Accountant for the Souderton, PA location. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement after approximately 6 months of employment, with 2 days working from home.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports identifying production and spending variances.
• Prepare and review global intercompany transactions to resolve out-of-balance variances or discrepancies.
• Prepare manual journal entries, develop supporting schedules, and perform detailed reviews of cost management transactions, project accounting (cost) activity, and other financial accounting entries.
• Analyze monthly results to ensure reporting is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
• Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliation, ensuring accuracy of stock inventory accounts, customer-specific inventory and services accruals, and trade creditor accrual balances.
• Analyze variances, validate underlying transactions, and confirm reconciled items align with financial reporting requirements.
• Support budget activities by preparing financial data, performing analytical reviews, coordinating departmental input, and contributing to annual budget deliverables.
• Respond to inquiries from the Director of Finance and Assistant Controller.
• Maintain daily interaction within and outside Finance to ensure proper general ledger reporting.
• Address internal and external emails as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 1–3 years of Accounting or Cost Accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience with Oracle Financials (preferred).
