Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs receiving inspection occasionally.
- Affords assistance in final inspections when required.
- Collaborates with Quality Management on projects requiring inspection functions.
- Affords assistance in layout inspection, if required.
- Performs all other duties assigned.

- Education and Experience - High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard and metric measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, etc. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Mental Skills – Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Computer Skills: Document notes in computer as needed.
- Attendance – Consistency in showing up for work and completing normal work hours.
- Attention to Detail- Diligence in attending to details and pursuing quality in task completion.

- While performing the duties of this job, the individual is constantly moving about the job site to determine the quality of parts being made.
- The individual frequently positions self to inspect parts.
- The individual uses the hands continuously while performing all job duties.
- The individual must be able to exchange accurate information with other individuals in the office and shop.
- The individual must be able to detect part defects from short distances to determine what action needs to be taken.
- The individual must regularly push, pull, and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- The individual must be capable of carrying and loading different parts and tools required to complete the job.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The individual will be exposed to loud machinery or equipment.
- Due to the risk of electrical hazards while installing or servicing, additional personal protective equipment and procedures may need to be followed.
- Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment as situations dictate on various job and construction sites.
- During warmer months, the required personal protective equipment may cause the employee to be very warm while working.
