Fin Press Operator
Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking a Fin Press Operator to set up, operate, and maintain fin press machines used to produce aluminum fins for heat exchangers. This role ensures high-quality production while meeting safety, efficiency, and production targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate fin press machines to produce aluminum fins per specifications
- Install and align dies, tooling, and coils
- Monitor press operation for quality
- Perform inspections using measuring tools
- Troubleshoot production issues
- Adjust machine settings
- Perform routine maintenance
- Document production and quality data
- Follow safety procedures
- Maintain 5S work area
- Communicate with team
This position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position for purpose of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (“The Unity Bill.”) effective August 29th, 2019.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing or stamping experience preferred
- Blueprint reading ability
- Mechanical aptitude
- Inspection tool usage
- Progressive die experience (preferred)
- Heat exchanger knowledge (preferred)
- Lean manufacturing (preferred)
- Forklift or crane operation (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
Work Environment
Non-temperature controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles typical of metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment, including noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, (paint masks or respirator when required), and OSHA-compliant safety boots/shoes within the manufacturing facility.

- Regularly stand for long periods of time
- Walk, reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
