Film Festival Social Media / Communications

Description

Indy Film Fest is looking for a social media and communications professional to join our festival team. The primary goal is to increase awareness of our organization and events, including a multi-day annual film festival and various year-round film and fundraising events. Responsibilities include promoting independent filmmakers' work both before and after their films screen with us.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Indy Film Fest's audiences through social media and email
• Support independent filmmakers by promoting their work
• Work with the Marketing Committee and our design and marketing partner firm
• Assist in branding, campaigns, and design assets
• Most work can be done remotely, but frequent engagement at events in Indianapolis is preferred

Qualifications

• Experience in social media management and event promotion
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies
