Film Acquisitions Intern

Samuel Goldwyn Films is a major, independently owned and operated motion-picture company that develops, produces, and distributes innovative feature films and documentaries, including Oscar-winning and celebrated titles such as Another Round, God’s Own Country, The Squid and the Whale, and Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom.

About the role

Film Acquisitions Internship for the Fall 2026 semester/quarter. This is an unpaid internship, but school credit is offered. The position requires working 2–3 days per week for the duration of the semester, with flexibility for in-office, hybrid, or remote work based on preference.

Responsibilities

• Script and screener coverage
• Film festival preparation
• Maintain the company database (data entry)
• Provide support to the acquisitions and sales team

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and eligible to receive college credit
