Fill Technician I
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Fill and prepare prescription orders in a timely manner.
- Stock and manage the robotic counting machine.
- Absorb medications when scheduled.
- Keep the pharmacy clean based on a cleaning schedule.
- Check expired drugs on a monthly basis when scheduled.
- Assist with monthly inventory count.
- Pack and ship medications as needed.
- Respect and maintain confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA.
- Aid in enforcing all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician License with the State of Florida in good standing required.
- One year minimum of pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.

- Ability to fill 40 prescriptions per hour.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
- Ability to work in a standing environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously.
- Focused team player, who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, customers, and management.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and meet daily deadlines.
- Ability to perform repetitious work accurately.
Work Environment / Physical Demands
This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment. May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients. Some travel may be required.
