Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to accurately retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications while maintaining pharmacy equipment and supplies. Responsibilities Accurately retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications.Operate and properly maintain pharmacy equipment related to job duties: SynMed Ultra.Assist in maintaining and managing supplies.Work each day to meet established deadlines for medication cycle delivery.Package prescriptions according to the requirements of facilities and patients.Clean and assist in the maintenance of equipment and work areas.Assist in the maintenance of proper storage and security conditions for drug inventory. Essential Skills Pharmacy knowledgePrescription fillingOrder entryInsurance processing Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentActive Minnesota Pharmacy Technician registrationTechnician training certificate of completion from an accredited institution/college or signed certificate of completion from an employer preferredPrior experience in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy Work Environment The work environment includes two shift openings: 1st Opening is from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with work every 3rd weekend, and 2nd Opening is from 1:30pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with work every 3rd weekend. These are temporary contract positions covering bonding leaves, with a possibility of transitioning to a contract-to-hire role due to natural attrition and regular hiring in the dispensing/filling team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
