We are currently seeking a Field Veterinarian to join our team. This role is unique, combining elements of educator, advocate, and strategic partner, working directly with veterinary teams to advance canine nutrition and improve dog health. The ideal candidate is an independent and strategic thinker, passionate about advancing canine nutrition, building relationships, and making a significant impact on dog health.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Engage deeply in the veterinary and canine health community, becoming a trusted thought leader and advocate for dogs.
- Help veterinary teams discover the benefits of fresh, personalized nutrition, aiding in disease management, wellness, and improving quality of life.
- Educate and empower veterinarians and their teams through engaging conversations, lectures, roundtables, and direct collaboration, focusing on real-world needs of dogs and veterinary teams.
- Bring the "voice of the veterinary professionals" to our internal teams, shaping product and marketing strategies grounded in the needs of veterinarians and their clients.
- Partner with leadership to develop innovative strategies that drive lasting change in how the veterinary community approaches nutrition.
- Invest in your own growth and knowledge, staying current on veterinary and nutrition science, practice management, and the evolving needs of pets and their people.
Who We Are Looking For
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) with an active US veterinary license in good standing.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in companion animal general practice.
- A passion for nutrition, wellness, and advancing dog health.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a love for connecting with people and having real conversations.
- A valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- 70-80% daily field travel in the local market, and 10-20% overnight travel for conferences, internal meetings, and other regional or national events.
- A curiosity, positivity, and mission-driven mindset, dedicated to making a difference for dogs.
