Responsibilities

  • Install, remove, and maintain odorization systems including tanks, piping, tubing, pumps, sensors, and fittings.
  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Work with pressurized systems, valves, and fluid transfer equipment.
  • Safely transfer odorants and assist with spill response when needed.
  • Support natural gas pipeline pickling and commissioning projects.
  • Read and interpret mechanical diagrams and schematics.
  • Complete work orders, DOT documentation, and field reports using a tablet.
  • Travel to project sites across the U.S. by vehicle or air.

Requirements

  • Completion of post-secondary technical school or college program in mechanical or electrical engineering, pipefitting, HVAC or equivalent trade experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to understand mechanical drawings, piping layouts, or schematics.
  • Physically capable of working outdoors and on your feet.
  • Safety-minded with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using basic technology for documentation.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

  • Backgrounds that translate especially well:
  • Oil and gas field operations or instrumentation.
  • HVAC installation or service.
  • Welding, pipefitting, or fabrication.
  • Mechanical or industrial maintenance.
  • Utilities, construction, or industrial trades.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to understand mechanical drawings, piping layouts, or schematics.
  • Physically capable of working outdoors and on your feet.
  • Safety-minded with strong teamwork and communication skills.
