About the role
At EquipmentShare, we're hiring a Field Technician (Mechanic) at our Advanced Solutions rental facility in Niagara Falls, NY. This role involves providing maintenance and repair services for various pump, power, and HVAC equipment, and growing with a team committed to transforming the construction industry.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create, assign, and monitor work orders
- Track machine service intervals
- Order parts
- Diagnose equipment issues using real-time data
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs at customer sites
- Handle repairs and troubleshoot equipment failures
- Train lower-level technicians as needed
- Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
- Stay updated on OSHA requirements (preferred)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma, trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Experience with power generators, commercial HVAC equipment, and related repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- At least 21 years old to operate company vehicles
- Must be clean-shaven for certain customer sites (if required)
