Field Technician - LA

Core Responsibilities

• Operate in the field technical service department.
• Answer customer support calls and work trouble tickets.
• Exhibit a strong customer service focus.
• Work in a team-oriented environment.
• Install, maintain, and support various 911 solutions.
• Identify and escalate issues impacting customer acceptance, satisfaction, and retention.

Professional Responsibilities

• Ensure good troubleshooting and communication skills with NSOC.
• Keep trouble tickets updated according to INDIGITAL’s policies.
• Act as a liaison for customers on administrative and technical matters.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Basic PC troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Basic PBX and telecom knowledge.
• Working knowledge of basic networking.
• Knowledge of MS Office and Google Apps.
• Ability to utilize remote management tools.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to hear and/or speak from 20 feet with groups containing five or more individuals.
• Ability to climb stairs/ladders and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Significant attention to detail.
• Organized, multitasking abilities.

Education, Experience & Certifications

• Field support experience preferred.
• Basic experience with PC hardware, software preferred.
• Basic experience with PBX and telecom equipment preferred.
• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to work flexible schedules.
• Availability for occasional meetings or planning discussions outside of regular business hours.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Maintain professional appearance and workspace.
• Travel is scheduled on an “as needed basis”.
