Responsibilities
- Complete work assignments at Customer facilities, BYD Locations and perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
- Diagnose and repair warranty related issues.
- Provide Customer interface and reports on field maintenance activities.
- Determine, coordinate, manage resources required to meet set goals and assign resource workflows in the CRM.
- Respond to Customer requests, comments or complaints as needed. Assist Customer with maintenance related issues.
- Order parts as needed, coordinate repair and provide daily Service reports/Parts requisitions as needed.
Requirements
- Knowledge of transit bus maintenance operations and field service support.
- Minimum of two years’ experience.
- ASE Transit Bus Certifications.
- Transit bus Technician experience, preferably working in a field service environment.
- Experience with computer-based diagnostics in bus maintenance operations. Experience with bus Electric drive systems preferred.
- Ability to travel and work in the Customer's environment. Weekends, nights and long hours will occur.
- Licenses: Must possess a valid driver’s license in home state and no more than one infraction during previous three years. Class B with Passenger Endorsement preferred. If not at this time, the ability to obtain.
- Physical requirements: Regularly sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, talk or hear, reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, use a digital volt ohm meter (DVOM) and insulation tester for high voltage components.

Schedule
8-hour shift from 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Pay Range
$27-$36/hr
