Responsibilities
- Aid in the design and review of complex engineering projects
- Develop and implement engineering standards and procedures
- Lead and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and engineers
- Conduct project meetings and coordinate with various stakeholders
- Oversee the construction and installation of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to standards and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of project details, including as-built drawings and inspection reports
- Provide expert technical support and recommendations to engineers and project managers
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to engineering projects
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree and/or trade school preferred
- 5–10 years of relevant experience
- Environmental field experience strongly preferred
- Experience in facilities maintenance, public works, or a skilled trade such as plumbing, electrical, mechanical, construction, or similar fields preferred
- Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting aptitude
- Experience driving large trucks/vans, operating heavy equipment, and towing trailers is desirable
- Ability to regularly carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs. with or without accommodation
- Ability to work primarily outdoors with occasional office work
- Valid driver's license required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and First Aid/CPR certification preferred
Qualifications
