Field Technician III

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair construction equipment, including generators, rollers, and earthmoving equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, Tier 4, and aftertreatment systems.
• Provide basic computer skills for work orders, parts ordering, and service documentation.
• Inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment to manufacturer specifications.
• Operate under a unique overtime averaging benefit that pays you overtime while you're on vacation.
• Utilize uniforms and work boots provided by the company, with cleaning services included.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic with a construction equipment or equipment rental background.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, Tier 4, and aftertreatment systems.
• Basic computer skills for work orders, parts ordering, and service documentation.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, integrity, and a team-first mindset.
• A stable work history with a commitment to long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Must provide your own tools, averaging $10,000+ in value.
• Ability to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment to manufacturer specifications.
• Experience repairing construction equipment, including generators, rollers, and earthmoving equipment.

Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, Tier 4, and aftertreatment systems.

Pay

Pay dependent on experience and discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus.

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Overtime Eligible)
