About the role
Barranco Enterprises offers a structured 12-week development program designed to prepare technicians for a career in specialty equipment installation, service, and preventative maintenance. The program includes paid training, exposure to all major job types, and certification through an internal technical curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Install and service beverage systems, ice machines, and food equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance programs
- Service and maintain equipment in active retail and restaurant environments
- Operate under the Barranco Standard
- Travel for extended multi-week rotations
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening (where permitted by law)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Comfortable working on ladders and around commercial equipment
- Ability to work in active retail and restaurant environments
- Willingness to travel consistently as part of structured deployment schedules
- Ability to work flexible hours based on project demands
- Commitment to completing OSHA 10 within first 30 days
- Completion of the 12-week Foundation Phase in full
Qualifications
- Basic qualifications: Valid driver’s license, ability to pass background check and drug screening, ability to lift 50+ pounds, comfortable working on ladders and around commercial equipment, ability to work in active retail and restaurant environments, willingness to travel consistently as part of structured deployment schedules, ability to work flexible hours based on project demands, commitment to completing OSHA 10 within first 30 days, completion of the 12-week Foundation Phase in full
Skills
- Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, beverage systems, or food equipment (preferred but not required)
- Mechanical aptitude or prior trade exposure (preferred but not required)
- Basic electrical knowledge (preferred but not required)
- EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain) (preferred but not required)
- Previous travel-based field service experience (preferred but not required)
