Field Technician I

About the role

Barranco Enterprises offers a structured 12-week development program known as the Foundation Phase for new technicians. This program includes paid training, exposure to all major job types, classroom and field instruction, and certification through an internal technical curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Structured multi-week travel rotations
• Installations and equipment rollouts
• Preventative maintenance programs
• Beverage and ice machine service
• Active retail and restaurant environments
• Defined scopes of work
• Professional jobsite standards

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening (where permitted by law)
• Ability to travel for extended multi-week rotations
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Comfortable working on ladders and around commercial equipment
• Ability to work in active retail and restaurant environments

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Valid driver’s license, background check, ability to travel, ability to lift 50+ pounds, comfort working on ladders and around commercial equipment, ability to work in active retail and restaurant environments
• Work Expectations: Willingness to travel consistently, ability to work flexible hours, commitment to OSHA 10 completion within 30 days, willingness to complete the 12-week Foundation Phase in full

Skills

• Basic mechanical aptitude or prior trade exposure
• Basic electrical knowledge
• EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous travel-based field service experience
