About the role

Barranco Enterprises offers a structured 12-week development program for new technicians. This program includes:

  • Paid training
  • Exposure to all major job types
  • Certification through internal technical curriculum
  • Training to operate under Barranco Standard

Responsibilities

The work involves:

  • Structured multi-week travel rotations
  • Installations and equipment rollouts
  • Preventative maintenance programs
  • Beverage and ice machine service
  • Active retail and restaurant environments
  • Defined scopes of work
  • Professional jobsite standards

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening (where permitted by law)
  • Ability to travel for extended multi-week rotations
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
  • Comfortable working on ladders and around commercial equipment
  • Ability to work in active retail and restaurant environments
  • Willingness to travel consistently as part of structured deployment schedules
  • Commitment to completing OSHA 10 within first 30 days
  • Commitment to completing the 12-week Foundation Phase in full

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
  • Comfortable working on ladders and around commercial equipment
  • Ability to work in active retail and restaurant environments

Skills

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, beverage systems, or food equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude or prior trade exposure
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Previous travel-based field service experience
