Field Technician I

About the role

Barranco Enterprises offers a structured 12-week development program designed to prepare technicians for roles in specialty equipment installation, service, and preventative maintenance. The program includes paid training, exposure to various job types, and certification through an internal technical curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Install and service beverage systems, ice machines, and food equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance programs
• Service beverage and ice machines
• Work in active retail and restaurant environments
• Operate under professional jobsite standards

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening (where permitted by law)
• Ability to travel for extended multi-week rotations
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Comfortable working on ladders and around commercial equipment
• Ability to work in active retail and restaurant environments

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications: Valid driver’s license, ability to pass background check and drug screening, ability to travel for extended multi-week rotations, ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly, comfort working on ladders and around commercial equipment, ability to work in active retail and restaurant environments

Skills

• Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, beverage systems, or food equipment (preferred but not required)
• Mechanical aptitude or prior trade exposure (preferred but not required)
• Basic electrical knowledge (preferred but not required)
• EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain) (preferred but not required)
• Previous travel-based field service experience (preferred but not required)
