Field Technician (Field Tech)

About the role

We're looking for a dependable Field Technician to support industrial equipment operations at customer sites. This hands-on role involves operating sludge collection systems, monitoring equipment performance, performing routine testing, and assisting with general labor as needed. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has strong mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in maintaining safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate sludge collection units and remove sludge from industrial systems
• Perform daily water and chemical analyses
• Support the operation and maintenance of contracted sludge treatment equipment
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumable supplies
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed
• Assist with general labor and site cleanup
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, or field service experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
• Forklift experience preferred
• Crane operation experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors as needed
