Field Technician - Eugene, OR
About the role
T-Mobile is searching for an impactful Field Technician in the Eugene, Oregon area to join us in taking the next big leap forward!
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
- Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
- Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
- Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
- Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
- Develop yourself through continuous learning – completing training requirements to stay current on existing and new systems and products in order to grow skills and to expand proficiency in alignment with organizational values and requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent relevant field experience required. Candidates without degrees who have strong technical or field experience are encouraged to apply.
- Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred)
- 2–4 years of experience in field operations, maintenance, or related technical roles
- 2–4 years of experience in wireless telecommunications or a related field
Qualifications
- Electronics (Required)
- Basic operational knowledge/understanding and theory of all interconnecting circuits to include but not limited to RF transmitters, antenna systems, AAV, fiber, microwave radio and AC-DC power systems.
- RAN – Radio Access Network equipment – Experience/Familiarity with Nokia and/or Ceragon RAN technology is a plus
- Attention To Detail (Required)
- Problem Solving - Solves problems using creativity and innovation. (Required)
- Computer Fluency with ability to use programs such as Microsoft Office (Required)
- Understanding of Internet Protocol. Ability and willingness to incorporate AI into preparing solutions for and while triaging logical components.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated; exhibits initiative in achieving company goals and objectives.
- Basic leadership skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility with ever-changing environments and priorities.
- Flexible hours are a must. Day and night work is part of the job, as well as being part of an on-call rotation for the Denver market, which includes nights, weekends and holidays.
- Able to lift 50-70 pounds as well as being outside in the elements is an expected part of this role.

Benefits
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Pay
Base Pay Range: $27.16 - $48.99
Corporate Bonus Target: 10%
Schedule
