About the role
Cable One, a brand of Sparklight, seeks Field Technicians to connect customers to what matters most through installation and maintenance of customer service drops or outlets.
Responsibilities
- Install customer service drops or outlets in both residential and business properties.
- Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair reception performance issues.
- Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination on the customer's premises.
- Suggest upgrades of existing services and educate customers on their new/existing equipment.
- Take on other duties to support the company's Purpose, Brand Principles, and organizational values.
Qualifications
- A good driving record and valid driver’s license in the state you are applying.
- Flexibility to work overtime and on-call as needed.
- Problem-solving skills to interact positively with customers.
- Experience or training in customer service or a related field (at least 3 months).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
