Field Technician - Charleston

Full Time, Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

About the Role

• Work outside in the fresh air, typically walking 5+ miles per day
• Use the latest safety equipment to accurately detect gas leaks and quickly analyze data
• After training, work independently to demonstrate time management and problem-solving skills
• Play a key role in the detection of natural gas leaks to protect the community and prevent harm
• Use cutting-edge technology and equipment to ensure accurate leak detection
• Navigate natural gas incidents and implement proper solutions using company training
• Serve as the face of the company, providing professional and responsive customer service
• Accurately relay findings and convey information to clients and team members

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid, unexpired Driver’s license
• Personal vehicle for daily work use (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Passion for environmental safety
• Experience working with hands-on technology (e.g., phone, computer)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to stay focused while locating leaks
• Physical stamina for outdoor work and endurance to perform tasks effectively and safely

Physical Requirements

• Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day
• Carrying up to 20 lbs. of equipment
