Field Technician - Charleston

Pay

$18 per hour with guaranteed automatic $0.50 increases at both 60 days and 180 days.

Schedule

Full Time, Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid, unexpired Driver’s license
• Personal vehicle for daily work use (eligible for mileage reimbursement)

Responsibilities

• Detect natural gas leaks using modern safety equipment and cutting-edge technology
• Work independently to manage time and solve problems in the field
• Navigate and resolve natural gas incidents using provided training
• Provide professional and responsive customer service as the face of the company
• Accurately relay findings and convey information to relevant parties
• Maintain vigilance and attention to detail while locating leaks
• Perform physically demanding tasks outdoors, typically walking 5+ miles per day

• Experience working with hands-on technology (e.g., phones, computers)
• Strong problem-solving abilities

• High attention to detail
• Physical stamina for outdoor work, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and carrying up to 20 lbs. of equipment
