What You’ll Do (Your Impact)

  • Provide technical support for co-worker technology, including laptops/desktops, applications, systems, networks, and other devices.
  • Deliver onsite, desk-side, and remote support in partnership with internal teams.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents efficiently, contributing to reduced resolution times and high first-contact resolution rates.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and implement solutions to prevent future disruptions.
  • Escalate or assign complex issues appropriately to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and workflows to support consistent service delivery.
  • Collaborate across teams to provide seamless and integrated technology support.
  • Serve as a resource for other Field Technicians by sharing knowledge, guidance, and mentorship.
  • Deliver service in a co-worker-centric manner aligned with Summit’s service, communication, and Essential Behavior standards.

What You Bring

  • Associate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
  • A+ Certification required.
  • Technical certifications in Microsoft, Google, or Apple preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Chrome OS in an enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and collaboration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data security practices and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Additional Details

  • Physical Demands: Sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers. May occasionally reach above and below shoulder level and lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Environmental/Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches may require exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.
  • Equipment Used: A variety of office equipment, including telephone, printer, PC, and mobile devices.
