Responsibilities
- Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
- C Conduct quality control inspections on construction sites and document observations.
- Prepare accurate field reports, test results, and supporting project documentation.
- Maintain field and laboratory records and ensure data is complete and organized.
- Communicate test results and observations to project managers, contractors, and clients.
- Follow company safety procedures and industry standards while working in the field.
- Assist with additional testing, inspection, and project-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials testing, quality control inspection, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of standard test methods for soils, concrete, and asphalt.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Certifications
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I
- Radiation Safety Certification
- Additional ICC, WAQTC, NICET, or related construction inspection certifications are a plus.
