Responsibilities
- Monitoring activities on construction sites
- Performing testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt pavement materials, etc.
- Communicating with project manager, engineering technicians, client representative, contractor’s representative and others as applicable regarding the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation.
- Transporting material samples with associated identifying documentation to the laboratory for further testing and analysis.
- Tabulating, preparing, and submitting data and observation in the form of written and digital reports.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment, vehicles and work areas.
Qualifications
- Experience in materials testing and certifications from ACI, Troxler and FDOT are preferred.
- Basic math and writing skills.
- Strong work ethics.
- Able to work as a team player.
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) is required.
- Certifications/Licenses: ACI, Troxler & FDOT appreciated, but will train.
