Field Technician 3

Location: Patuxent River, Maryland (Onsite)

About the role

We are seeking a Field Technician to provide technical assistance and support. The role involves installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying equipment. This position will perform maintenance and offer technical support for integrated systems, subsystems, and software at customer or field locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance, modifications, and technical support on E-2C Avionics and Electrical systems.
• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment and integrated systems.
• Analyze and evaluate products and their performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to resolve problems efficiently.
• Install, upgrade, and remove products, ensuring coordination of engineering field changes.
• Support testing, exercises, and operations at OCONUS locations.
• Serve as a resource for resolving complex problems and issues.
• Maintain effective customer communications and relations.
• May provide onsite training to customer support personnel.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• An associate’s degree in an appropriate technical discipline and four (4) years of E-2C specialized experience.
• Alternatively, a High School diploma and six (6) years of E-2C Avionics and Electrical Systems experience will be considered.

Skills & Abilities:

• A comprehensive understanding of both general and specific aspects of the job and their practical application.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, potentially without established procedures.
• Must be willing to travel OCONUS 100% of the time.
