Job Description
We are seeking a Field Technician to handle installations for access control and network cameras. This role involves working on multiple short-term projects, primarily in commercial healthcare environments like hospitals. The position requires traveling to various job sites within the Orlando area and offers a dynamic work schedule that may include day, evening, and weekend shifts to accommodate facility needs.
- Perform installations of access control systems, including card readers and security panels.
- Install network security cameras in various commercial settings.
- Travel to different project sites as required, with mileage reimbursement provided.
- Manage and execute multiple small-scale installation projects, which may last from one day to several weeks.
- Adapt to a flexible work schedule, including day, evening, and occasional weekend shifts.
- Work effectively as a lead-style installation technician on-site.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in access control and network camera installation is required.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in low voltage systems, Cat 6 cabling, and general networking.
- Experience with both access control and network camera installation.
- Able to use personal vehicle for travel to various job sites.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Experience with Axis cameras.
- Familiarity with Lenel access control systems.
